The Verve Partnership started with a visioning session, sharing findings and posters from the focus group project launch. Participants included a range of teachers, staff, and the community school coordinator.
Teacher Visioning Session:
Participants were asked to add stickies if they had new insights, or to reinforce insights by adding a red dot.
We also asked visioners to think about why people don’t use the lounge currently. We wanted to understand what we could change to make the lounge more of a destination.
Based on responses to the focus questions, we distilled the following insights. They describe what a successful refresh should accomplish.
functional – multipurpose calming – restorative inviting
clean – attractive refuge – retreat
Finally, visioners were asked to clip images from magazines that matched the look and feel they wanted the lounge to have.
